At nearly 3,000 meters above sea level, Song-Kul is a remote mountain lake in the heart of the Kyrgyz highlands. In summer, it becomes a hub of nomadic life: herding families set up their yurts, graze horses and sheep, and maintain traditions passed down through generations.
