The Barskoon Gorge lies on the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, above the village of Barskoon, 90 km from Karakol. It is famous for its beautiful waterfalls with unique names such as "Leopard’s Tears," "White Beard," "Champagne Splash," and "The Bowl of Manas."
